     I have used the CA command sucefully in other computer, I puzzled why I failed here. And I did not change the set up about ADDR_LIST and so on.

If you do a "dbl" on your IOC - is the pv name that you want to reach really "${pv}"? That looks quite unusual.
Make sure you don't have spaces or illegal characters in the pv on the caget/cainfo command line.

Are you using the CA command line tools on the same host as the IOC, or on a different machine?

Hi all,
    I wonder why I failed and got message " Channel connect time out: ${pv} not found " or camonitor "*** Not connected (PV not found)", when I use caget, caput, camonitor.
    I added the path to environment and I can move the motor successfully with my ioc and the pv name isn't wront.
    Could you give some suggestion?
