Assuming nixos follows the usual gcc conventions, and assuming you are
building on a nixos host, set GNU_TARGET and perhaps GNU_DIR in (I
think) "configure/os/CONFIG_SITE.Common.$(EPICS_HOST_ARCH)". The
cross-compile targets provide examples of what this looks like.
