What version of EPICS base?
Are you sure you are running the version of camonitor you think you are running. Try:
which camonitor
also
cainfo
Sys{Dev}OLDMOV
Mark
Hi, I am having a problem where I write to a PV and it is not being detected by camonitor. The PV in question is defined like this:
record (bo, "$(Sys)$(Dev)OLDMOV")
{
}
I run camonitor and see this
$ camonitor Sys{Dev}OLDMOV
Sys{Dev}OLDMOV 2018-03-28 13:09:09.227050 1
So far so good.
When I do caput Sys{Dev}OLDMOV 0, I see:
Old : Sys{Dev}OLDMOV 1
New : Sys{Dev}OLDMOV 0
However, camonitor does not update. But if I close camonitor and open it up again, it says:
Sys{Dev}OLDMOV 2018-03-28 13:23:48.628131 0
Why didn't the value on camonitor update to the correct value until I restarted camonitor?
