It would probably be best to ask DECTRIS since they wrote and support
tvx.
But if you're trying to fix the problem without them, you could, instead
of the "-X" option, try the "-Y" option to ssh which enables trusted X11
forwarding.
Or you could try to get a stack trace when tvx crashes. You'd need to
figure out how to start it inside gdb, or attach to the tvx process with
gdb after it's started, or get a core dump file and analyze that with
gdb after the crash.
