Hi Pilar,

I did some experiments compiling EPICS Base under the Termux app (which provides a Linux-like environment), but gave up after I realized that a few of the POSIX interfaces used by EPICS were not present on Android.

I am sure one could get it working by adding a new target architecture and carefully adding stuff to the OSI parts of libCom, but that was way above my level of interest.

What is your use case?

(Mine was to provide a local compilation option on a Chromebook. Since ChromeOS started getting Debian apps, that will definitely be a better way.)
