Binary Outputs have a field HIGH - that is how long to keep the value high. You can use any widget that would set the VAL field of a BO record. The record itself will turn the value back off after the value set in HIGH.

I use the software CS-Studio in my internship. I would like to realize a
connection between a timer and a boolean (switch).
I would like that when I push on the start button of the timer, the switch
actually visually switches on, like from dark to blight. I don't know if I
have to use Action, Rules or Scripts for this.
Because when I look for it in examples for switch and LED, I don't see a
link beetwen the 2, there is no rules, no action and no scripts to do so.
I feel that it's easy but I'm blocked.
Best,
