Subject: EPICS Qt 3.6.4 [SEC=UNOFFICIAL]

Hi all,
EPICS Qt 3.6.4 has been released and available at GitHub.

This is available at https://github.com/qtepics with guidance and release notes

Note: there was an unannounced release just before Christmas, so be sure to read
the r3.6.3 release notes as well.

All the repositories (apart from the binaries) have been tagged r3.6.4
All the https://qtepics.github.io guidance files are now markdown (as opposed
to being converted from .docx files to .html files) so look a lot “cleaner”.

After sending this e-mail, I’ll be starting to integrate release 3.7.1 changes from
our local source repository to the GitHub’s repos. The 3.7 series incorporates
PV Access. Until 3.7.1 is formally release I would stick to the r3.6.4 tag files.

However, if you are feeling adventurous and want to build from the HEAD files,
as a minimum you will need to pull in the acai library (new dependency) available
from https://github.com/andrewstarritt/acai and modify the qeframework’s
configure RELASE file to update ACAI definition.

More details when 3.7.1 is actually released.

Cheers
