Hi Peiyu,

Thank-you for posting the full build messages, they made it easy for me to see that you are trying to install EPICS Base in a directory that has spaces in its path. This will not work, our build system cannot handle spaces in directory names. You will need to rename your directory “Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System” replacing the spaces with some other character or just removing them. This is true for any EPICS-related software, you cannot not use spaces in any directory names above where the software is installed.

Dear

I just start to study epics. I am installing EPICS 7.0 base in windows 10 system.
According to guide, Set EPICS_HOST_ARCH in startup directory:
    set
Then in base directory:
gmake clean uninstall
gmake
The result show some "error 2". I don't know what mean it is. Whether I have success in installing it?
Please see red words.
Thank you very much

Peiyu
