Receiving duplicate monitor values using CA PV Gateway

Hey all,

We are seeing duplicate values when first creating our subscriptions through the CA Gateway. Is this normal? If not, does anyone know what might be causing it?

Note: We are on EPICS V3.14.12.8 and Gateway 2.1.0

We see this in our applications and in tools such as camonitor. Here is an example output from camonitor, for a heartbeat PV updating every second:

$ camonitor IOC1_HEARTBEAT
