We are starting to build the Integrated Control Systems Group for the Second Target Station Project at ORNL. The STS is a >$1B DOE project to be constructed at the ORNL Spallation Neutron Source. We are currently preparing for a CD-1 review. The ICS scope includes controls systems, data acquisition, computing infrastructure, and protection systems for the neutron scattering instruments, accelerator, target, and conventional facilities technical utilities, using the EPICS toolkit.
This is a great opportunity to join the project at an early stage and help define technical approaches and system architecture.
