Chances are that it already is support by either the ADAravis or ADVimbra which both derive from ADGenicam. Mark Rivers did his normal excellent work on GenICam supported hardware.

Subject: Lucid Vision Cameras
Someone here purchased some GigE cameras from Lucid Vision. Their Phoenix line. They say GenICam on the web-site. Am I correct in understanding they would require a new driver based on the areaDetector
GenICam driver?
Should I tell them to buy a different camera?
