Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System

Hi John,
If the camera can run on Linux it is likely that you can run it using the ADAravis driver since it is GenICam compliant. You could also write a new driver with the vendor SDK extending ADGenICam.
Best,
Jakub

Subject: Lucid Vision Cameras
Someone here purchased some GigE cameras from Lucid Vision. Their Phoenix line. They say GenICam on the web-site. Am I correct in understanding they would require a new driver based on the areaDetector GenICam driver?
Should I tell them to buy a different camera?
