Hi John,
If the camera can run on Linux it is likely that you can run it using the ADAravis driver since it is GenICam compliant. You could also write a new driver with the vendor SDK extending ADGenICam.

Someone here purchased some GigE cameras from Lucid Vision. Their Phoenix line. They say GenICam on the web-site. Am I correct in understanding they would require a new driver based on the areaDetector GenICam driver?
Should I tell them to buy a different camera?
