Fermilab is beginning construction of a new 800 MeV superconducting
linac, known as PIP-II, to replace the current 50 year old linac
injector to the accelerator complex. The control system for PIP-II will
be based on EPICS. Furthermore a major parallel modernization project is
underway to replace the existing custom control system for the
accelerator complex with a system based on EPICS. Both projects are
currently in the early planning stages. The PIP-II project is expecting
CD-2 approval this month. The modernization project, known as ACORN,
recently received CD-0 approval from the DOE with substantial tentative
funding. There will be a presentation on this project at the upcoming
EPICS collaboration meeting.

Currently we have the following opening on the ACORN project in the
