Yes, thanks for bringing that up. There is a preliminary list of ideas for EPICS base at https://github.com/epics-base/epics-base/wiki/code-a-thon-project-ideas (note the links for issues tagged ‘codeathon’). There are also lists being developed for Phoebus / CS-Studio and EPICS services, and possibly areaDetector and other collaborations within the EPICS collaboration but I don’t have links to those yet.
