The BOY application and the use of Eclipse in CSS are both obsolete.  You should change to using the Phoebus application that does not use Eclipse.


If you use the areaDetector driver for the webcam as I described in a previous message then you will be able to directly display the Channel Access or pvAccess images in Phoebus with no need for a custom widget.

Sir,
I need to integrate a webcam output to the BOY in CSS. Since there is no widget provided for the application, I thought to make a custom widget in the eclipse framework. I don't have a clue about the flow of the development of the custom widget. I also tried to access the webcam through the web browser widget provided in CSS but there is no pop-up for the permission of camera access. If you have some idea then please guide me to the easiest solution possible for the above problem statement.
