Hi,

To perform WRITE/UPDATE operations on Channelfinder(CF) server through CSS-Phoebus,

we need to set CF username and password inside channelfinder_preferences.properties at build time

or we can set it at application launch time using '-settings' option, inside settings.ini file.

Since both of these options require saving username and password in a file,

I wanted to ask if there is a way we can avoid this and give CF credentials

in the GUI pop-up itself wherever we perform any add/remove operation on channel property/tag.

Has anybody worked on this option?
