I think your best bet is to use a single format, write the number and the tag in two separate records, and FLNK a combination of calcout then seq to forward the number to where it belongs.

I think your best bet is to use a single format, write number, units and tag in three separate records, and FLNK a combination of calcout (on the tag) then seq (in mask mode) to forward number and unit where they belong.
