Has anyone installed the archive appliance on RHEL8?

I can't get past the following error:

Pointing a browser at http://localhost:17665/mgmt gives:

HTTP Status 500 – Internal Server Error

I have tried tomcat 8 and 9, both with java 8 and 11 and I get a similar message. For tomcat 9, the message involves more functions but the problem is the same.
