Hello,

I was reading about MDSplus, I was wondering if there are similar tools for using EPICS for configuring experiment, storage, retrieval with focus on post acquisition analysis and visualisation.

I understand that using archiving tool of CSS or Archiver Appliance can be good for timeline archiving and historical event analysis. Anyway they can be adapted to do the above?

It would be great to hear experiences from users who are using MDSplus or similar tools.
