Good to know.  We are running Base-7.0.2.  I am guessing the problem was on the Archiver end. I don't know how that was built/deployed.

Was this in the IOC or Archiver?

fyi. Base >= 3.16.1 doesn't use EPICS_CA_MAX_ARRAY_BYTES any more (by default).
