Hi John,

 

Are there any error messages on the IOC console?

 

Does the Acquire PV go back to done?

 

Can you send an medm screen shot at the end of the acquisition?

 

Can you try using Stream mode and see if that works?  I know we have an Eiger2 16M at APS 12-ID that is used in Stream mode and it is working OK.

I am encountering a problem with acquisition on an EIGER2 which I haven't experienced before (on other EIGERs)

 

This appears to be true with both the latest ADEiger and an older version (Driver 2-5, ADCore 3.10.0)  

 

I have an EIGER2 16M, firmware 2020.2.1

 

If I set TriggerMode = Internal Series, NumImages =1 , AcquireTime = 1.0 and press Start the MEDM screen reports the detector going through all the expected states  (Arming, Triggering, Processing Files) .  An HDF5 master files appears but no data file. Also the image counter does not increment.

 

External Trigger works as expected.

 

When tested separately from EPICS (a locally written program sending HTTP requests) the acquisition occurs as expected.

 

Any advice appreciated.
