Hi For anyone interested, we did lots of testing for Rocky Linux 8.6 and the tests included various EPICS components as an RPM package. We packaged EPICS base, various synapps modules including some area detectors, and OPI tools like EDM,
medm and caQtDM. You can find the SPEC files as well as some scripts to automate building in this repo:
https://github.com/AbdallaDalleh/epics-rpm-spec .
