I'm curious to see your opinion as to why we should not be relying upon
GitHub archives. To me, the observed behavior was expected due to the
usage of `export-*` attributes, but I might have missed something.
The process github.com uses to create these files may change at any moment
in a way which invalidates all previous hashes. Such a change could well be
entirely outside the control of a repository owner, and without prior notice.
I see more variables/unknowns in this process than the export attributes.
