Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System

Hello,
We use ethernet power strips from APC that allow remote control (on/off/reboot) of each port on the power strip individually. The standard number of ports is 8 but we also use power strips with more ports. However, I only need one port
that will be installed in up to 35 chassis (installed in the tunnel) that will allow the power cycle the hardware plugged into this port, if necessary. I really don’t want to purchase a 8 port power strip when I only need 1 port. If another lab uses such
a device, I’d also like to download the EPICS driver, or asyn protocol file to talk to the device. I realize that many of these devices come with a web interfaces, but want to integrate this into the EPICS control system. Also web interfaces are generally
not permitted on our production systems.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks,
-Kristi
