Subject: Re: [External] Looking for a Water (LCW) Leak Sensor for machine interlock
Hi Greg,
It looks like we cannot use them for our purpose because we have to shut down power supplies based on the input. So, I need more expensive (aka industrial grade) products.
However, I appreciate your reply, and I am happy to see things are upgrading in Edwards Accelerator Lab since I had a short discussion about their upgrading possibilities to EPICS almost 10 years ago.
Best,
Han
We recently had a major flood and installed several of MySpool water detectors to alert us in case of a recurrence. They’re just a switch, so they should be able to be connected to a PLC input.

We are looking for a reliable water leak sensor system for an interlock system, such as a PLC input.
Does anyone know, test, and use any water leak sensor (model, vendor, and so on) to generate an interlock signal?
