ADGenICam R1-9

• Added XML, database and OPI files for many new cameras:
• AVT Manta GT1290, Alvium 1800 U-811

• Fix problem where startCapture() could be called when the camera was already acquiring. This caused resource leaks in ADAravis, and perhaps other drivers.
• Improved Python scripts to process XML files. Added support for IntReg and String features. Thanks to Xiaoqiang Wang for this.

 

ADAravis R2-3

• Improvements to allow reconnecting to the camera and downloading all settings to the camera without restarting the IOC.
• Added arvFeature::initialize() and an std::vector of arvFeatures to allow re-initializing when the camera reconnects.
• Require C++11 so auto iterators can be used.
• Add autosave command create_manual_set(ADAutoSaveMenu.req, ...) to iocBoot/iocAravis/st.cmd.base. This can be used to save and load the camera and plugin PV when the camera reconnects.
  It can also be used to save and load different configurations for different setups.
• Relinquish control of camera before doing a reset. Thanks to Evan Daykin for this.
• Fix problem with ADAcquire setting parameter library before calling base class.
• Fix to allow MONO_14 format to work.
• Fix memory leak in arvFeature::readEnumChoices()

ADSpinnaker R3-4

• Updated Spinnaker version from 2.4.0.147 to 3.1.0.79. Windows users will need to update their local install of the Spinnaker SDK to this version. Linux users do not need to do anything, since all required files are included with ADSpinnaker. The vendor Spinnaker libraries for Linux are built with gcc 11. This means the version of gcc on the computing running the ADSpinnaker IOC must be at least gcc 11. RHEL 9, Centos 9 Stream, and Ubuntu 22.04 all have gcc 11.
• The frame, packet, and buffer statistics available have changed in this version of Spinnaker. The records and OPI displays of these have been updated.

 

ADVimba R1-4

• Updated the version of the Vimba SDK being used to 6.0. Windows users will need to install Vimba 6.0 to get the correct drivers and DLLs. Linux users do not need to do anything because the 6.0 files are all included in ADVimba.
• Removed support for 32-bit Linux and Windows.
