Hi Timo,

We have 300 + VME, and with an environment VxWorks + RTEMS.

Would be more than happy to contribute.

Thanks,

Guobao

Subject: mrfioc2 driver support

Dear colleagues,

especially users of MRF timing hardware and the mrfioc2 driver (https://github.com/epics-modules/mrfioc2):

We at ESS are heavily using the MRF hardware and (after discussion with Michael Davidsaver) are planning to contribute effort to the mrfioc2 driver, to speed up development and in particular merging of pull requests.

We also want to set up a CI system, including testing on hardware.

However, we are only able to support MTCA hardware and the PCIe card, series 300, on Linux-based IOCs.

For that reason, we would like to know if sites who use other versions (230), architectures (VME, cPCI,..) and operating systems (like RTEMS) would be willing to consider helping in testing the new features and bugfixes on platforms that we are not able to support?

We certainly do not want to break the community module for other users so testing help would be most welcome.

Maybe we should discuss this in upcoming (EPICS) collaboration meetings, with the interested users?

Best regards,

Timo
