Hello!

I noticed at

  https://epics-controls.org/resources-and-support/base/

that EPICS Base 7 is sometimes referred to as EPICS 7, but EPICS Base
3.15 and older are always referred to as EPICS Base <version>, never as
EPICS <version>.  Why is that?

For example, in the above page, there are two boxes at the top: "EPICS
7.0.7" and "Base 3.15.9". That naming difference seems strange to me.
I would expect the only difference to be the version, so I think "EPICS
7.0.7" should be "Base 7.0.7". What's the rationale for the difference,
and can this be changed?

Another example is at the bottom of that page in the "Development
Statistics" section where the following branches are listed:

* EPICS 7
* Base-3.16
* Base-3.15
* Base-3.14
* Base-3.13

I think "EPICS 7" should be "Base-7". What's the rationale for the
difference, and can this be changed?

Thanks,

Lewis
