Hi everyone,

for migrating one of our laboratory SAXS instruments to EPICS control I am testing the synApps package and figured out how to build it on a fresh Ubuntu 22 with some modifications of the newer assemble script in perl:

That seems to build fine except for the xxx template which complains about "No rule to make target '../../../lib/linux-x86_64/libGalilSupport.a', needed by 'xxx'". But I can't find any rule, reference or existence of a 'libGalilSupport' in the Galil module while the Galil module itself builds without errors.

Does someone have some insights on how to fix this and where to get or build a libGalilSupport (respectively, how to adjust the configuration accordingly)?

I created a build workflow on Github reproducing this, if someone is interested. With a github account you should be able to see or download the log files of the build which are stored as artifacts:
