Hi Feng,
You would need to build the genSub support module and reference this in your build, to use the genSub record.
However, these days, you should use the aSub record, which is a standard part of EPICS base. aSub = Array Subroutine Record.
The genSub = General Subroutine Record was the forerunner to the aSub, written many years ago, but probably still in use in many places.
Conversion between the two is not too difficult.
