Heinz,

Do you have the correct pins tied together in the 15 pin D-shell to enable serial?  I think for RS-232 you need to pull pin 5 low, which they suggest doing by tying to pin 2.  For RS-485, you also need to pull pin 6 low.  Caveat: I haven't tried this yet, but I did have this in my notes as part of the next project.

Hi Techies,

We are trying to commission an Edwards scroll pump nXDS 10i with streamdevice via serial communication and streamdevice.
We have a protocol description with serial 9600 baud and Ascii communication like "?V808\cr”

But unfortunately with these settings nothing happens on the link.

There is a Windows-Programm whitch runs with 38400 baud and binary communication protocol ( named Modbus?).
This works.

Does anyone have such a pump in operation?
Are there different protocol variants?
Do we have the wrong documentation?
