I created two EPICS training sessions back in 2023.  The sessions were recorded:

The target audience was beamline staff and resident users: people who had experience using EPICS but never needed to care about lower-level EPICS details.

The first session is a boring slideshow, which inspired the creation of some "Getting Started" wiki pages:

The second session is a self-directed exercise in deploying EPICS support and troubleshooting common problems.  The instructions for the second session are in the APS gitlab repo.

The "main" branch contains ANL-specific instructions, but helpful hints have been added to it.  The "external" branch contains instructions that are more likely to succeed for people at other organizations, but it lacks the helpful hints.
