Good morning / afternoon
I have spent some time this morning trying to configure an Eiger ?from scratch? using _only_ the ADEiger interface and caput
I have thus far failed!
If someone has an example script I would find that very helpful :-)
I am trying right now to set up collection of a series of frames from either an internal or external trigger - I understand the concepts and I am sure I could do it through the rest interface but I am keen to use the standard EPICS one if possible, using simply
caput and scripting
Also: how to fetch the data from the file writer through the ADEiger interface would be handy too? I understand the stream interface but have never used the file writer one
I appreciate that this is probably all obvious to those who are in the know - I am not!
Thanks and all the best Graeme
