The OmsPC68 support in the motorOms module is model-1 driver which uses motor.db. VME_IO is correct for the controller:

Newer model-3 drivers generic asyn motor device support which works with asyn_motor.db.
I have a couple questions:
1. Are there any errors after the call to drvAsynSerialPortConfigure?
2. Are there any motor record errors at iocInit?
