Hi Gabriel,
for such applications, we prefer to use beagleboneBlack systems (running RTEMS) in addition
to RaspberryPi systems running ‘deban’ and generate an Epics IOC that 'integrates' the i2c or spi devices, e.g. via asub record.
We also have systems with Raspberry Pi that communicate via USB with Arduino-like systems to which the
SPI and i2c devices are connected. A p4p server (i.e. only pvaccess) then runs on the Raspberry Pi.
So, anything is possible.
We intend to present these systems in Saclay in April.
However, I can already provide information about them now.
