Had a quick peek at the manual...

Straight-forward ASCII-over-RS232, ~30 available commands.

Using StreamDevice and a Moxa-box (or similar), you'll be pumping in no time.

If you have no device yet (or no connection), you can write a simple Python script as a simulator to develop against.
