Sounds good. We’ve started to use text in the LED widgets, for the same reason. Use of color alone to distinguish a state is poor UI design (and our users have told us so).

Cheers,

Matt

Hi,

Not exactly what you want, but there are the bit labels you can add. Those are static text, but I think it’s possible to modify the text via a rule or a script.

Or, an ugly way to do this is to overlay the text on the widget, and use visibility rules on the text.

For the LED widgets there is a built in way to do this. I guess it would be useful for the byte monitor too.

Or, perhaps lay out normal LED widgets side-by-side, so it looks like a byte monitor.

Cheers,

Matt

Greetings all, I'd like to display 0/1 in each bit of the byte monitor widget for accessibility reasons. Is there a way to do this? Thank you, Pierrick -- Pierrick Hanlet Fermi National Accelerator Accelerator Front End Controls +1-630-840-5555
