Hi, folks.

We have a few ancient Pilatus2 detectors at Sirius, running with
camserver 7.2.70 (Pilatus 300K) and 7.3.13 (Pilatus 100K and 2M).
Historically, we have used ADPilatus R2-1, but we recently revisited the
deployment procedure to run camserver virtualized (with PCI passthrough)
and asked ourselves if there isn't any newer version that still works
fine with such legacy camserver's API.

In the past, someone here tried upgrading to the latest release by that
time, and it supposedly didn't work. I don't know any details about
this, but it makes me wonder if there is any actual break in
compatibility.

Giving a quick look at the release notes, I didn't find any explicit
mention of which ADPilatus versions break backward compatibility. I
assume R2-2 would still be fine to be used with camserver 7.3.13, as it
is explicitly mentioned in the corresponding release notes, but anything
newer than that depends on how the backward compatibility was designed
in the driver.

Which ADPilatus version is the latest one that still supports,
respectively, camserver 7.2.70 and 7.3.13?

(Hopefully, we can upgrade Pilatus 300K to run 7.3.13 as well, but I'm
not sure yet.)
