Hi David,
For the cross compilation to ppc64 we do at ESS we setup CONFIG_SITE.Common.linux-ppc64 and define the "GNU_" macros so EPICS build system figures out how to find them. Here is an example https://urldefense.us/v3/__https://gitlab.esss.lu.se/e3/wrappers/e3-base/-/blob/master/configure/os/CONFIG_SITE.Common.linux-ppc64e6500?ref_type=heads*L50-58__;Iw!!G_uCfscf7eWS!c255j21zl5ZoG_0PhAFc7MBrUfaTIb0ZhRMPoJWc4o9O4kIrQTfwbkX5PpPacev3tO_0wMX1Dgvv88FYnKIkLKX13JDuU3M$
Cheers,
Lucas A. M. Magalhaes.

Subject: Cross compiling for arm
Working on cross compiling EPICS for arm (and aarch64…) I’ve got CONFIG_SITE.linux-x86.linux-arm set for where the compiler is located, but how do I tell the build system where the include files and libraries are located?
