Mark,
I experienced this delay recently when I was doing synApps builds on Windows 11 that took 35 minutes to complete. The hang during compling/linking sscanRecord.c was very long, but the entire process seemed slower than I remembered. It felt like there was a delay each time the directory changed.
Does the windows machine have CrowdStrike software installed on it? I suspect that is part of the slowdown on my machine, but I don't know how to prove it.
Kevin
