Yes,
that may have one disadvantage:
When the controller is not online, while the
constructor is run, this is lost.
It may need a better/more robust solution.

Either to introduce a firstPoll() method which is called
when the connection is established/re-estabished.
Or an output-record, which is processed, when the connection
status changes. I am not so familar with asyn, here.
Or: A stream device based output record ;-)
We recently learned that stream device has some support
for connecting/reconnecting. (Thanks, Dirk)
