Yes, as Jeff explained in an earlier message, the CA client library does
searches quickly at first, then backs off to a slow search rate.  That
minimum slow search rate can be set by an environment variable, but it
defaults to 300 seconds, and can be set as short as 60 seconds.  The
alogorithm for determining when to do searches involves not just the
time since the disconnect but also the total number of disconnected
channels.

If a beacon anomaly is seen then the search rate is increased to a
faster intermediate value, so channels should reconnect faster when an
anomaly is seen.
