VxWorks 5.5.2, 6.8 and 6.9 all have close() defined in unistd.h. In the
VxWorks 6.x versions this header comment shows when they did that:
02w,31aug06,mwv move kernel definitions of read(),write(),close()
to unistd.h (WIND00038902)
My Jenkins builds against 6.8 and 6.9 have not failed.
Dirk, which VxWorks version is this failing against? Do you have any
other local changes that are needed to support EPICS 7 on that version?

Title:
vxWorks compilation fails with undeclared function
Status in EPICS Base:
New
Bug description:
Since -Werror-implicit-function-declaration has been added to configure/CONFIG.gnuCommon in commit b49f0691, EPICS base 7.0 compilation fails for vxWorks in:
../osi/os/vxWorks/osdFindSymbol.c: In function `epicsLoadLibrary':
../osi/os/vxWorks/osdFindSymbol.c:49: error: implicit declaration of function `close'
VxWorks declares close() in ioLib.h.
