Hi ROlf,
We have been using the Intel vxWorks version. I do not know
the details of how it was set up. I do know that one issue
was that drivers had to deal with the fact that there is
only one interrupt vector. So the drivers using interrupts
had to be put on a linked list and the argument had to
indicate which was to be awoken.
I don't know the other details. I think that Jeff may be the
one that knows them however.
LINUX is another matter. If you are looking for something
that must run and is time critical, I would not go down this
path yet. If you are looking at something that has relaxed
time responses, it may be worthwhile.
