Hi Terry,
Cool! I wasn't aware anyone was really using my
module!!! I don't currently have a good NI hardware setup and I
haven't build the software for ages - but I'll have a quick look at the
code and see if anything comes to mind - do you get any sort of error messages
on the shell? What hardware are you using?
The software was picked up a while ago by Heinrich du
Toit (who is no longer working with EPICS, as I understand it) - I imagine you
are using the version he made several additions to.
I have been meaning to clean up the code for ages as it is
currently in a bit of a messy state...
Cheers,
Ulrik
Hi All.
I’m using NIDAQmxBase written
by Ulrik Pederson in 2007 in an Epics application driving a National Instruments
card.
It all works, but if I open two
ports to the card, one for DAC and the other for ADC, and I write fast enough to
the DAC port, I get buffer underflows on the ADC
port.
Has anyone found a fix for this? (It
might be to do with the National Instruments drivers, of course, which are
nidaqmxbase v 3.2.0 and NIKAL 1.7)
