Hi Andrew,
I am cross-compiling on Linux.
Here is the output of ccppc -v
corvette:CARS/CARSApp/src>/usr/local/vw/tornado22-ppc/host/x86-linux/bin/ccppc -v
Reading specs from /usr/local/vw/tornado22-ppc/host/x86-linux/lib/gcc-lib/powerpc-wrs-vxworks/gcc-2.96/specs
gcc version gcc-2.96 (2.96+) 19990621 AltiVec
Here is the output when compiling a C file for EPICS.

Are you cross-compiling Base on a Linux or Solaris host? Please post the
output from running 'ccppc -v' so I know which compiler you're using.
