The problem I'm having is that procServ does not exit after child
exits (child is restarted) hence there are not calls to the ipcrm..

Maybe I should feed the shell script to the procServ altogether
instead of trying to do some things in systemd service and only
respawn IOC inside the procServ.

To keep it simple, I would run ipcrm via the iocShell's 'system' command from within the IOC.
No PID gymnastics, no systemd gymnastics, procServ works as it is.
