Hi Douglas,

This looks like an issue with your local pc network arrangements. How is your gateway and netmask set at your local pc?
Would you mind sending the output of ifconfig on local pc and detector?
Does the IOC work at the beamline if you run it at the same computer as you used the DppMCA software?

Cheers,
Hugo

Hi Hugo,

Now I'm doing test in my local pc with IP 10.2.101.36 and the detector is connected in 10.2.103.31. in this case the ioc can't find the detector. We already configured the broadcast, but not has changed.

When I connect the detector in other port (10.2.101.34) the ioc works.

Another important point is that when we connected the detector in beamline network (subnet: 10.2.78.0) and we used the DppMCA Windows program (Running a windows pc on the subnet: 10.2.76.0), the DppMCA recognizes the detector.

Thank You
Regards

Hi Douglas,

Can you provide more information about the IOC server network and also the detector network? (IP, Network Mask, Gateway, etc)...

Thank you,
Hugo

Hi, I'm using the amptek ioc from support mca7-7, and if the detector is
on the same network (and subnet) as the IOC server, it recognizes and
works perfectly. But if I change the detector subnet, the ioc can't find
the detector.

Does anyone knows if there is some configuration so that the amptek IOC
recognizes the detector that is connected in another subnet? Or has
anyone had a similar problem?

Thank you
