Dear members of EPICS community:
During the "Stay Home" period, I wrote experimental HiSLIP driver for
asyn/stream device support. As I said, this is still in an experimental
stage but it can read/write values to the
device using SCPI commands over HiSLIP protocol. I tested it with EPICS
R7 on CentOS 8.
If you are interested in this software, please check the drvAsynHiSLIP
directory in
https://github.com/noboruatkek/asyn
This directory also include cPyHiSLIP software which provides a
cPyHiSLIP module for Python.
cPyHiSLIP shares C++ program with drvAsynHiSLIP but does not have any
dependency on EPICS. (cPyHiSLIP is built and tested on CnetOS8 and
MacOSX 10.15).
Your comments and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
