Any progress on this? I plan to set up a Dante8 today to check on another problem and I can investigate this if you have not solved it.

We changed that line in st.cmd. It didn't seem to make a difference at first glance. We'll play more. I would expect an error if the payload exceeded the default EPICS_CA_MAX_ARRAY_BYTES, no?

The EPICS interface to Dante allows setting the spectrum length to 4096, but the data only ever covers 2048 channels. How do I make it show 4096?
